When your glassware ruling from the 5th of August was written into Holly's knowledge, it was recorded in two slightly different ways. Before it goes any further, we need to know exactly what you meant. Your answer gets recorded word for word.

What you ruled, as the manual now records it

Glassware is not a fobbing cause. Drop it from this fault's triage (ruled 5 August 2026). Glassware causes FLATNESS, not fobbing. Glassware checks stay exactly where they were, at Fault 3 (poor head) and Fault 4 (flat beer), the faults glassware actually causes. A fobbing call does not go anywhere near a glassware question.

The question

Two small things got attached to your ruling when it was written down, and we need to know if they are genuinely yours:

The record says glassware CAUSES flatness, as a fact in its own right. Did you mean that as a positive statement (glassware genuinely causes flat beer), or only the narrower point that glassware does not cause fobbing?
The record treats your ruling as overriding the industry guidance we had on file, which suggested trapped glass residue could explain fobbing. Is that right, should that guidance be struck for the fobbing fault?

Total stoppage: always an engineer?

On the recorded calls from July, your words about a genuine total stoppage (a true no-pour, after the quick checks have all been run) were that it needs an engineer, usually. After a test call escalated too slowly, we tightened that to always, and marked the tightening as our reading, not yours. Only you can confirm it.

What the record now shows

An engineer, usually. There is no phone-safe fix once a blockage or a frozen cooler is suspected (your ruling, recorded calls, 27 July 2026). Tightened on our own reading, 4 August 2026: an engineer, always, once a genuine total stoppage is confirmed. The quick checks first (empty keg, gas, stuck float, shut-off valve, kinked pipe), and the moment those are done and flow is still not restored, the call escalates. Nothing further is tried on the phone.

Energy-saving cooler controllers: do any of our sites have them?

The manual carries a branch about energy-saving devices, timers or controllers that switch a remote cooler off outside trading hours and can make a working cooler look faulty. It came from industry guidance, and nobody has ever confirmed whether any Asahi-contract site actually has one fitted. The manual itself names you or Ben as the people to answer this.
